First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the masters who are working hard to promote and develop Taekwondo in the world.

There have been several cases of unauthorized use of the KUKKIWON’s name and CI online, including on social media such as Facebook.

Recently, we found that a person in the United States has used the name and CI of KUKKIWON without any permission, creating the name of USA KUKKIWON, and mentioning the promotion test and the issuance of the International Master Certificate. In addition, unofficial events are advertised as if they were officially supported and permitted by KUKKIWON, causing great confusion among Taekwondo families.

Please note that the above images and contents have nothing to do with KUKKIWON, and that it is illegal and prohibited to use the name and CI of KUKKIWON without official procedures.

The name ‘KUKKIWON’ is registered and legally protected in most countries including the United States. We will take strong measures against any unauthorized use by all means, including legal actions.

Also, in the US, KUKKIWON will not conduct KUKKIWON office and branch projects for the time being. This will be thoroughly reviewed and implemented cautiously after the election of the president.
